A 1930s freight elevator in the Pharmaprix Building at 3861, boul. St-Laurent
Alain Goulem directs the ‘Dream Team’ of Alex Haber, Neil Napier, and Michel Perron as two tourists and a maintenance worker trapped in a broken-down elevator on the 13th floor of a has-been hotel. Infinithéâtre Presents the World Première of the One-Woman Cabaret PLUCKED, HAMMERED AND STRUNG by Carolyn Guillet
BAIN ST-MICHEL 5300, rue St-Dominique (corner McGuire)
A woman, a piano, five lovers and six obsessive love songs. Nine dying fathers and a forgotten spouse or two. A theatrical performance full of passion, lamentation and frivolity. Themes of yearning, inanity and insanity, played out to the tune of Chopin’s Funeral March and Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. This is Kurt Weill’s Threepenny Opera meeting Aeschylus’ Electra; a cross between Peggy Lee and Mozart improvising “Variations on the Theme of Love”. Running concurrently with Infinithéâtre's John and Béatrice at the Bain St-Michel Thursdays through Saturdays ONLY at 10 PM. (Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1 and 6, 7 and 8.)

BAIN ST-MICHEL 5300, Rue St-Dominique (corner McGuire)
A play by Carole Fréchette, internationally acclaimed and Governor General Award-winning playwright, performed in Montréal for the first time in English. Beatrice waits up her tower in her nearly empty room for the perfect man to arrive. John answers the call. Will the ever-longing-for-perfection eternal feminine find love? Will the mythical macho adventurer find insight and settle down? A cross between a Greek Myth and a Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Tennesse Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof directed by Greg Kramer
Leanor and Alvin Segal Theatre-5170 Côte-Ste-Catherine Rd. corner Westbury. (Metro Côte-Ste-Catherine or Snowdon).
This is Tennessee Williams’s iconic tale of passion and dispassion in the heat of a 1950s Southern night. Brick and Maggie “The Cat” have returned to his father’s Mississippi plantation to celebrate the ailing Big Daddy’s birthday. Rivalry and intrigue abound as everyone fights over who will succeed the old man and assume control over the property. Through all the bickering and fighting, everyone tries desperately to hold onto whatever happiness and dignity the family still possesses. But a storm is brewing, and they are powerless to stop it.
