DAY 1: ARTISTS' FORUM

The artist delegates will assemble in workshops according to their discipline. Each workshop will be led by a professional facilitator and will have a minute-taker and an appointed reporter (one of the artist delegates).
Discussion Question #1: What are the challenges and barriers you face as an English-speaking artist in Quebec?
Discussion Question #2: What are the priority needs for developing your artistic sector now and into the future?

- 10:45—12:30 p.m. PLANNING WORKSHOP 2
- The delegates return to their discipline-based workshops.
Discussion Question #3: What needs to be in place to develop your artistic sector over the next five years? (e.g. services, programs, structure)
During the lunch period, the workshop facilitators, minute-takers and reporters will meet to prepare summary points for the afternoon plenary.

The reporters will present the summary workshop findings for each artistic sector. The facilitator will summarize this presentation with an overview of the workshop findings — common and unique elements.
Discussion Question #4: Based on the workshop findings, what needs to be in place to develop the English-speaking arts community as a whole over the next five years? Is there anything that was not raised in the workshops?
Discussion Question #5: How do we move together to develop the English-speaking arts community? What are the next steps?

The plenary will break out into three mixed-discipline groups (determined during the morning session) to discuss strategies for development with the community partners invited for Day 2.
Each group will focus on one of the following themes:
- Building Partnerships with the Education Sector
- Working with the Media
- Promoting & Presenting the Arts
- 4:00—4:30 p.m. PLENARY — WRAP-UP OF DAY 1, LOOKING AHEAD TO DAY 2

The entire group will reassemble to share and compare notes and questions for the community partners.

DAY 2: COMMUNITY PARTNERS
There will be three plenary discussions on Day 2. Each discussion will be led by a moderator, who will pose key discussion questions to a panel of community partners. The moderator will also call for questions and comments from the artist delegates and other community partners in attendance.
