Retraining Grants for Dancers

The Dancer Transition Resource Centre, a membership-based organisation helping dancers make necessary transitions into different careers, offers its members a number of grant opportunities to help pay for retraining in a second career choice after a career in dance.

Established in 1985, the Dancer Transition Resource Centre (DTRC) helps dancers make necessary transitions into, within, and from professional performing careers. DTRC offers a number of different grants to members, which range from financial assistance for skills retraining, tuition, the cost of books, supplies and travel as well as basic financial assistance for studies leading to a second career choice. For more information on how to become a member, and the type of grants available, please consult the DTRC Website or contact their office in Quebec or Ontario.
