Promotion and Dissemination Grant Program

This program provides support for the promotion and dissemination of works by Quebec artists in the areas of visual art, media arts, film, video, arts and crafts, and architecture.

This grant provides financial assistance to contribute to the direct costs of the organisation of: artistic events (section 1), the dissemination of works (section 2), publications (section 3) and searches for promotion and dissemination outlets (section 4) in the areas of visual art, media arts, film, video, arts & crafts, and architecture. This program is intended for organisations and independent curators recognized by CALQ for the quality of their initiatives and management in the areas of artistic endeavour covered by the program.

Eligibility
  • Non-profit organisations that engage in professional artistic activities

Maximum of $40,000 per fiscal year
Submissions Date
  • Section 1 (artistic events funding): Fall (September 15) and Spring (March 1)
  • Section 2 (dissemination of artistic works funding): Fall (September 15) and Spring (March 1)
  • Section 3 (dissemination of artistic works funding): Fall (September 15) and Spring (March 1)
  • Section 4 (Promotion and Dissemination outlets): Anytime (however, the grant application must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the date of the project)
