Playwrights' Readings Program
This program provides financial support to Canadian professional playwrights who are members of the Playwrights Guild of Canada to do public readings across the country, as well as for venues needing assistance to invite playwrights to do a public reading in their community.
This program provides funding support to bring professional playwrights into the wider community. This program assists with the cost of booking playwrights to do readings at venues across the country, and contributes to travel expenses for each reading, as well as paying their reading fees. Funding amounts can be increased for travel to remote areas of the country. A complete list of playwrights available to do readings is available on the Playwrights Guild of Canada website.
