The Quebec Writing Competition
The Quebec Writing Competition is an annual event that is open to all writers, established and upcoming, who are residents of Quebec.
The Quebec Writing Competition is an annual event that encourages entries from a variety of different writing categories, including stories about travel, life stories, short fiction, family narratives, humour, and personal essays. There is an entry fee of $10 for this competition. Writers may submit multiple entries (the $10 fee must accompany each submission).

- Maximum of 1200 words
- Multiple entries permitted

- Second Prize: $1000
- Third Prize: $500
All winning stories will be broadcast on CBC and published in the print edition of Maisonneuve Magazine or on their website.
