Peter MacGibbon is a cultural entrepreneur with a strong background in the performing arts, these days with Theatre Wakefield and as a bassist in various jazz combos, including Angéle & her Swingin' Devils. He currently serves on the boards of ELAN, the Quebec Drama Federation, Theatre Wakefield, the Community Health and Social Services Network, and the Outaouais Health and Social Service Network. As a community development consultant, Peter develops and delivers innovative projects in collaboration with rural and remote communities, including the Community Learning Centres initiative. Peter envisions a thriving cultural economy in the West Quebec region, and is very excited at the potential for the arts to support rural revitalization.
