2015 marks the 2nd edition of Edgy Redux, our ever fierce, feminist and considerably condensed incarnation of the Edgy Women Festival. In keeping with Edgy tradition, our program is imbued with a love of experimentation and a thrill for emerging practices in performance that will spark conversation and mesmerize audiences.

International queer performance artist Coral Short and software developer / artist Angela Gabereau welcome the public to enter the world with Future Visions, an interactive video installation featuring over 100 short films created as visions of the future, randomly offered as a tarot spread.

Phénomena is a bilingual interdisciplinary festival that seeks to highlight innovative and unclassifiable artists. The festival presents whimsical acts, shadow theatre, performances with projections,
object theatre, cabarets, happenings, performance dance, performance art, experimental music, and installations using both digital and analog technologies.

Canada Reads, Côte Saint-Luc Style

The popular annual book debate Canada Reads returns to the CBC airwaves in mid-March and the Côte Saint-Luc Library is getting in on the action!

On Thursday, March 12 at 7 pm, five CSL librarians will defend their choice of one of the five books in contention for Canada Reads at a high-spirited round-table debate at the library. We’ll have light refreshments for the audience and the event is free!
