Cross-Pollination vernissage and artist talk this weekend

Published: Thu 19 Apr, 2012 -  Community Events

This exhibition is a little bit about biology, a little bit about culture.

On a micro scale, what happens when an artist combines media? In nature, a flower crosses with another. A new flower comes to life. Perhaps this flower will only last one generation. Perhaps this flower can save the world.

On a macro scale, imagine different groups sharing their information, working together to reach new goals, previously unimagined. New dreams.

The exhibition features five artists (Keivan Khademi Shamami, Natasha Henderson, Jenny McMaster, Lauren Trimble, and Heather Boyd) who examine the cross-pollination of accepted and expected media and ideas within their artwork.

Join us for the vernissage on April 21 at 7pm, and join us for Jenny McMaster's Artist Talk the next day, Sunday April 22 at 3pm.

The show runs until June 3... visit us on weekends 3-6pm, or by appointment.
