- Two EV 664 dynamic cardioid microphones circa 1960, $350 each or both for $650. I may be interested in a partial trade for a Sennheiser 421. Both EV 664s are working perfectly. I'm selling them with the 4 pin to 3 pin XLR cables, original desktop bases, and hardshell mic cases (not original). I have been using them for recording in recent years and sound great! The EV 664 is still very sought after, very collectable, very functional (live or recording), and is generally descried as one of the best dynamic cardioid mics ever made. This is the mic that all the rock and blues greats like Gene Vincent, Bo Diddley, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Little Richard, and the King Elvis used to use. More recently there are stage photos of Win Butler (Arcade Fire) using it. It's the real deal. A true classic.
