July was an exceptionally hot and sunny month, perfect for terraces, picnics, schmoozers, and trips to shady spots near lakes, rivers and pools. Our August schmoozer will be back indoors - but with air conditioning if necessary. Mark August 27th in your calendar. The schmoozer will start later than usual (7 pm), immediately following ELAN's Annual General Meeting, which is your opportunity to discuss ELAN activities and meet the board members who represent your discipline.
August is also the period of our annual membership campaign. The financial and moral support from all members are greatly appreciated, and all active members are entitled to vote at the AGM. Of course, schmoozers and ELANews will continue to be free services offered to the entire artistic community. We look forward to seeing both members and friends on the 27th.
