Clarise Samuels
Clarise Samuels is originally from Rahway, New Jersey but now resides in Canada with her husband and two children. Samuels acknowledges a life-long love of writing and literature, which is reflected in her Ph.D. in German Literature (Rutgers University, 1990), as well as her many years of writing and publishing experience. Samuels has worked as a proofreader, copy editor, journalist, and corporate writer. She is also the author of book reviews, poetry, translations, and a scholarly book that can be found in the libraries of all the top universities in North America. Samuels’ book is catalogued under both literary criticism and philosophy. Her first novel, Loving Brynhild, is as yet unpublished, and Samuels is working on a collection of poetry and a second novel.
