Shelly Mia Kastner
As a solo performer I trained at LAMDA (London England), Ecole Jacques Lecoq (Paris France) and Phillipe Gaulier (London England). I started a clown and mask theatre company in Chambery, France which toured around France and Austria.
I returned to montreal and trained here in trapeze. I then toured with Cirque Ingenieux doing triple trapeze ( US and Mexico tour). I performed in Make-A Circus doing trapeze and clown (San Francisco), and in the Cirque du Soleil doing clown (Mystere, in Las Vegas). I was also the Artistic director and trapeze coach for Cirkids in Vancouver.
I have been back in montreal for the past few years doing my solo comedy aerial dance act.Strange Comedy is the show I have with my partner and we are based here in quebec but my partner is from san francisco. It is a one hour show of physical comedy consisting of circus disciplines mixed with vaudeville.
