Canadian Heritagethrough the Multiculturalism and Anti‑Racism Program – Events component (MARP Events), is looking to fund organizations to deliver public events that bring communities together and highlight diverse voices, histories, and artistic expressions. The submission period begins April 29, 2026 for events starting between December 1, 2026, and March 31.

Canadian Heritagethrough the Canada Arts Training Fund (CATF) supports arts training in Canada and contributes to the development of future artists and cultural leaders. To be eligible for funding, the applicant must be a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the arts or an equivalent Indigenous organization. Funding priorities are Indigenous and equity arts training.

Canadian Heritage, through the Community Development through Arts and Heritage – Community Anniversaries component provides financial support to local groups for non-recurring events that mark the 100th anniversary or greater, in increments of 2 5years (e.g., 125th, 150th); of a significant local historical event or personality.

Repercussion Theatre in partnership with Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal is sending out an open call to local playwrights who might have something to say about Shakespeare for its 3rd edition of Words with Will! They will be selecting two writers who will get to develop their story with artistic and financial support. This includes a year-long partnership with a dramaturg, the culmination of your work in a workshop presentation and a $5000 grant!
