English- and French-speaking artists, and representatives of the Conseil de la Culture de l\u2019Estrie, Townshippers\u2019 Association, and ELAN (English Language\u00a0 Arts Network), have come together to bring you Made in Estrie<\/strong>! Hosted by Ziv Pryztek of Shazamfest, Made in Estrie will be the first event to help bridge the gap between the Townships\u2019 two artistic solitudes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prior to the event, 10 French-speaking artists\/organizations and 10 artists\/organizations that work mainly in English can register for the March\u00e9 \u00c9clair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the event, participants will be paired together (an English-speaker and a French-speaker) to discuss their new project, album, book, or other work of art. Later, each person will present the project\/work of the artist they were paired with. Each participant will be given 1 minute to speak (2 minutes per pair). Townshippers\u2019 Association will provide a $20 gas gift card for each artist participating in the March\u00e9 \u00c9clair, and living within the Eastern Townships 40+ km from Sherbrooke.<\/p>\n
