To maintain the safety of ELAN&#8217;s staff, our work will be conducted remotely until further notice. Presently, our main focus will be working closely with other arts service organizations and funders to provide support to artistic communities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the next few days,<span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong>\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.calq.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/grants\/coronavirus\/info\/\">Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0will release a form that artists can use to record\u00a0lost revenue and unbudgeted costs.\u00a0Similarly, our sister organization the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.quebecdrama.org\/\">Quebec Drama Federation<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0is urging theatre professionals to keep detailed personal records of their financial loss. A template with instructions on how to fill it can be found\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.quebecdrama.org\/covid19\/reminder-documentation-and-self-reporting\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. In addition, QDF is collecting data on how COVID-19 is affecting\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1m3f5C8EQ5OYx3FWM6OmIvPVrGaxfevLbRj9IM0NhgHY\/viewform?edit_requested=true\">English theatre companies\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/span>and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdiu2cW4IgavFh9XkTcJZXClhKDQY5u-vZ_UbpoL9Xu40zmJw\/viewform\"><span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong>individual artists<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. If these forms are relevant to you, we encourage you to complete them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have created a\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/covid-19\/\">COVID-19 page<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>where we will regularly post information on services and resources available to artists, ways to support artists, and general updates from funders, the Government of Quebec, and the Government of Canada. Please note that this page is in development. We welcome you to check back in regularly for new updates. We have a shared responsibility to minimize transmission of infection by following public health guidelines. We also have a duty to help one another.
