If you are an artist yourself, I encourage you to connect with your art service organizations and community groups. We are here to help and provide resources as you ease back in to quicker pace.<\/p>\n<p>ELAN is part of an extremely supportive community network that keeps in touch, shares knowledge and works together. I want to highlight just some of our partners that I have had the pleasure of meeting with over the past few months \u00a0&#8211; <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fccf.ca\/\">F\u00e9d\u00e9ration culturelle canadienne-fran\u00e7aise<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>(FCCF), <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yesmontreal.ca\/\">YES<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Montreal, <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/culturemontreal.ca\/\">Culture Montreal<\/a>,<\/strong> <strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theatrewakefield.ca\">Theatre Wakefield<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/cultureoutaouais.org\/\">Culture Outaouais<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, Quebec English-language Production Council (QEPC), <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.culturechelsea.ca\/\">La Fab<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Arts Co-op, National Film Board, <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/regdevnet.ca\/\">Regional Development Network<\/a><\/strong><\/span> (RDN), <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.writersfete.com\/index.html\">Wakefield Writers Festival<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centreconnexions.org\">Connexions Resource Centre<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, and <span style=\"color: #0054a6;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0054a6;\" href=\"https:\/\/qcna.qc.ca\/\">Quebec Community Newspaper Association<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. The future is bright for the ELAN community with these inspiring and dedicated organizations and leaders by our side; I look forward to meeting with many more of you in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I am pleased to announce that ELAN is a finalist in the category of &#8220;Our Essentials of Equity&#8221; for the Conseil des arts de Montr\u00e9al Nos indispensables (Our Essential Artists) event.\u00a0 Paying tribute to the generosity and achievements of creators who stood out in the 2020 artistic year &#8211; in the category of Equity, they sought organizations who have shown a commitment and leadership in taking actions that promote social justice.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you will all join me in expressing deep gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to all of the ELAN staff, Board, and Committee Members, past and present, for their contributions to ELAN\u2019s Inclusion work that lead to this nomination.
