In the 2021-22 year, 78 Teaching Artists facilitated 248 creative projects reaching a total of 24,000 students. Workshops for homeschoolers helped more students have access to these inspiring projects. The <a href=\"https:\/\/hosted.learnquebec.ca\/belonging\/\"><em>I Belong<\/em> projects<\/a> in partnership with LEARN Quebec helped empower students to explore their identity and sense of belonging to Quebec society through the arts. The 2022-23 school year is off to a strong start with over 87 projects planned so far!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here&#8217;s an overview of the AIG activities from this past year:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>February<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshops for Homeschoolers: 10 different Artists facilitated a two-week workshop series reaching about 200 homeschooled Quebec students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 LEARN I Belong projects realized in partnership with AIG<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>April<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshops for Homeschoolers: another 10 different Artists facilitated another two-week workshop series again reaching almost 200 homeschooled Quebec students<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 Discipline-Specific Learning Communities for AIG Artists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>June<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By the end of the 2021-2022 school year 213 Schools had used at least one AIG<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>248 x $1500 projects made possible&nbsp;<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>78 Artists facilitated an AIG project<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 24 000 Students reached<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Average satisfaction rating of 4.8\/5 for both Artists and project administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>July<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guidelines and rates adjusted to match Culture in the Schools rate increase<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New guidelines benefit Artists while maintaining high AIG expectations (repeated visits for maximum impact with students)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Response from AIG Artists &#8211; 96% wanted to return for another year of workshop facilitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>August<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recruitment of 15 new Artists and Arts Organizations<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New AIG Digital Catalogue sent to 1246 recipients via MailChimp<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18 AIG Artists now also in Culture in the School Repertoire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>November<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshops for Homeschoolers: 10 different Artists facilitated a two-week workshop series reaching over 150 homeschooled Quebec students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>December<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>87 School Projects planned for the 2022-2023 school year so far!<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We now have 796 followers on Facebook (110 new followers gained this year) and 522 followers on Instagram (130 new followers gained this year)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"887\" height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile.png 887w, https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile-600x425.png 600w, https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile-300x212.png 300w, https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile-768x544.png 768w, https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile-260x185.png 260w, https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile-705x499.png 705w, https:\/\/www.quebec-elan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Year-3-banner-2_mobile-450x319.png 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 887px) 100vw, 887px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ArtistsInspire Grants have continued this year to bring arts projects from a broad range of disciplines into Quebec&#8217;s schools.
