Signing up for our workshop on Intellectual Property Law for artists with Juripop! This meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams. You will receive an event link by email after completing the registration form.
Juripop is a community organization of lawyers offering creative, rigorous and accessible legal services to ensure that all people can assert their rights.
In this session, they will be going over the principles of Intellectual Property Law as it pertains to the arts. This session will address the principles related to copyright, the creation of works and image rights. Participants will learn the main principles of copyright but will also learn the basics of how patents and trademarks work. There will be a question and answer period.
