Ce <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.statcan.gc.ca\/pub\/89-642-x\/2010002\/article\/introduction-fra.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rapport de Statistique Canada<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> offre plus de d\u00e9tails quant au concept des communaut\u00e9s de langue officielle en situation minoritaire et les d\u00e9finitions complexes que le concept implique. ELAN utilise les termes langue anglaise et anglophone de mani\u00e8re inclusive: sans \u00e9gard \u00e0 sa langue maternelle, tout le monde peut parler en anglais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ELAN encourage une identit\u00e9 qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise en \u00e9volution qui reconna\u00eet le fran\u00e7ais comme la langue publique et c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la diversit\u00e9 sociale, culturelle et artistique. Plus de 3000 travaillent dans l\u2019industrie du film et de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, 1000 dans le domaine de la musique et 800 en arts visuels. Un plus petit nombre de qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois anglophones travaillent dans les milieux du th\u00e9\u00e2tre, de l\u2019\u00e9criture, de l\u2019\u00e9dition et des arts m\u00e9diatiques. Find a project similar to yours in terms of discipline, scope, and artistic content. What is an official language minority?<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-22' aria-labelledby='toggle-toggle-id-22' role='region' class='toggle_wrap  av-title-above'  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">French speakers outside Quebec and English speakers inside Quebec are considered to be official language minorities (OLM): communities of people who speak one of Canada\u2019s two official languages, but who are in the minority insofar as the rest of the population in their region speaks the other official language. <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/static1.1.sqspcdn.com\/static\/f\/633158\/9542177\/1290532689467\/Portrait+Stats+Can+ESCQ+EN.pdf?token=1ytVAR%2F2384mKZk%2BefipSN3Omxw%3D\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Statistics Canada report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provides more detail on the concept of OLM communities (OLMCs) and the complex definitions involved. More than 3000 work in film and television, 1000 in music, 800 in visual arts. Smaller numbers work in theatre, writing, publishing, media arts, dance and circus arts. Significant numbers work in fields such as animation and translation. \u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many artists work in at least two languages.
