Artistes, prenez la parole !<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vingt-cinq ans apr\u00e8s le lancement de la premi\u00e8re Politique culturelle du Qu\u00e9bec, qui a men\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du CALQ et de la SODEC, et apr\u00e8s 15 mois de consultation aupr\u00e8s de la population, le ministre de la Culture et des Communications Luc Fortin vient de faire para\u00eetre une \u00e9bauche de sa nouvelle politique culturelle.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier, ELAN a men\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de consultations aupr\u00e8s de ses membres. Puis \u00e0 l\u2019automne, nous avons d\u00e9pos\u00e9 un m\u00e9moire exprimant notre inqui\u00e9tude \u00e0 l\u2019effet que le document de travail accordait peu d\u2019importance aux artistes anglophones du Qu\u00e9bec. Nous savons qu\u2019il est important de valoriser la culture francophone, mais nous savons aussi que lorsque Arcade Fire a remport\u00e9 un<\/p>\n

prix Grammy en 2011, l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e nationale a vot\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 une r\u00e9solution visant \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre le fait que les artistes anglophones peuvent eux aussi \u00eatre d\u2019excellents ambassadeurs pour le Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

La nouvelle politique culturelle comble bien des lacunes que comportait la mouture de 1992, en tenant compte notamment du virage num\u00e9rique, et de l\u2019importance des artistes autochtones. Cela n\u2019est pas parfait, mais le Ministre et son \u00e9quipe ont fait un grand effort pour se montrer modernes et inclusifs.<\/p>\n

Le minist\u00e8re de la Culture et des Communications accueille en ce moment les commentaires sur son projet de nouvelle Politique culturelle<\/a> (FR).
