DESCRIPTION

This section of the program offers bonus funding that supplements Sections 2.1 and 2.2. It serves to reduce inequalities causes by some booksellers’ distance from major urban centres.

CRITERIA

Open to: Accredited bookstores

 

  • Financial aid is calculated according to the applicant’s regional disparity, their eligible expenses for Section 2.1 or 2.2, and the program’s financial resources
  • To receive this additional funding, booksellers must submit an application for Section 2.1 or 2.2 of the program
  • A regional disparity indicator is calculated according to the following parameters:
    • A bookseller’s sales per capita
    • The ratio of population per accredited bookseller
    • A measurement of the region’s remoteness
    • Regional economic disparity

EXPENSES

Determined based on eligible expenses for Section 2.1 or 2.2 of the program

DOCUMENTS

No additional documents required beyond those submitted for Section 2.1 or 2.2 of this program
