Introducing State of the Arts: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion
The vitality and vibrancy of the English-speaking arts, culture, and heritage community here in Quebec can be seen in the innovative, thought-provoking, and quality work that is produced in this sector. From cinematographers, to museums, to artist collectives, here at ELAN we recognize that the perspectives that we bring to our work give colour to the world around us.
ELAN invites you to be part of The State of the Arts: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (SOTA on EDI) project. We have launched a survey to better understand the multiplicity of perspectives and experiences within the sector in relation to equity, diversity, and inclusion. What do these terms mean for you, your work, and for how we work together? All responses and information shared will be kept confidential and anonymous. The last day to complete the survey is November 25, 2022.
This survey is a tool to make sense of the State of the Arts through the lens of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). The data collected will be used to develop a concrete plan of action to bring greater equity, diversity, and inclusion within the English-speaking arts, culture, and heritage sector in Quebec, and set priorities for a conference in June 2023 designed for community members to come together, learn, and devise new ways to work, act, and engage.
