This section of the program supports production companies that develop a set of feature-length fiction projects with different screenwriters on a yearly basis. It does so while offering creative latitude to production companies as it relates to their choice of feature-length fiction projects to be developed as well as the type of development chosen for each project, as long as half the projects are written or co-written by a screenwriter.

  • Production companies with experience in a specific production format that are submitting a project in another format must contact SODEC at least one month before the submission deadline to determine their eligibility
