Studio-Apartments for young artists (Pépinières européennes de Création)

Pépinières européennes de Création

DESCRIPTION

Since 1992 as the Pépinières Européennes pour Jeunes Artistes and since 2018 as the Pépinières Européennes de Création, this structure, a true factory of adventurous culture, has been present in 32 countries with more than 200 partner host organizations and 1500 artists supported during the various programs.

To implement these actions, the Pépinières develop mobility, creation, co-production, dissemination and training programs that enable young artists and young creative professionals to develop artistic projects in sharing with the audiences they meet. In a transversal and prospective approach, the Pépinières are open to all artistic disciplines and will be particularly attentive to new hybrid creative practices as well as to digital cultures.

Information of the location
Québec has participated since 2000 in the cultural organization Pépinières européennes de création. The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (Conseil) assumes the role of national coordinator for this association. This organization involves many associated partners who share common values. The Conseil’s participation in this organization enables young Québec artists to apply for residence programs offered throughout Europe.

PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDIO AND RESIDENCY PROGRAMS DIFFER CONSIDERABLY IN DURATION, DEADLINES AND SEASON IN WHICH THEY OCCUR. WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE THIS PLATFORM FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES AND TO REVIEW ALL DETAILS ON THE CALQ WEBSITE.
