Support for international co-productions

Mesure d’aide à la coproduction internationale

DESCRIPTION

The international co-production assistance measure is designed to provide Quebec organizations producing artistic works with financial leverage to stimulate monetary investment from co-producers based outside Quebec. To this end, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec provides matching grants, up to a maximum of $50,000, in addition to funding for these co-producers.

The measure is open to organizations in all disciplines supported by CALQ, and can accommodate applications for projects of various kinds leading to public presentation or publication, such as shows, exhibitions, performances, installations, public artworks or monographs.

Through this program, CALQ aims to provide Quebec organizations with financial leverage to stimulate monetary investment from co-producers outside Quebec, improve the financing of original Quebec productions with a view to their dissemination, and promote new distribution opportunities outside Quebec for organizations, collaboration with new partners and the development of new networks.
