During this session, Jody will draw from her personal story and from respected knowledge keepers in the field to address the following questions: 

  • Decolonizing artistic practices: what does it mean and how is it expressed and not expressed in the arts? 
  • What is cultural resurgence? How can we support this work ourselves, in our own communities and places that we work? 

Rethinking the Recruitment Process with Jason Murray from BIPOC Executive Search

March 15 (12:00-1:15)

This webinar will draw from content related to reshaping the recruitment process using principles of equity and inclusion. Some of these elements may include tackling cognitive bias, inclusive and equitable interviewing approaches, and cultivating a comfortable hiring environment enabling all candidates to showcase their strengths.This workshop is a follow-up presentation building upon the results of the online learning module; however all are welcome to attend regardless of whether they have completed the virtual training or not.
