The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) published an article in the fall issue of Quebec Heritage News about the challenges involved in creating the Waves of Change project, and the Quebec City Literary and Historical Society published an interview with Waves of Change director Guy Rex Rodgers in the fall issue of their magazine Society Pages. Waves of Change is a hot topic these days, check out Morrin Centre Literary and Historical Society’s interview with Guy Rodgers here.
ELAN has received funding from the Secretariat for Relations with English-speaking Quebecers for a second phase to this project, a feature length documentary that we are calling What We Choose to Remember. In September we filmed street interviews to find out how well Montrealers know the history of their city and in early October we filmed parts of the narration on St Catherine Street. Writer/Director Guy Rex Rodgers has completed the script and we have begun editing the film, which will be launched next March. We will have important news about What We Choose to Remember to share with you before the holidays.
