In order to respond to the needs of English-speaking arts organizations, ELAN’s Québec Relations project has sought to identify all relevant sources of funding available within the provincial government. The result of this effort is a document repository of over 100 programs offered by various provincial ministries and agencies, each summarized into key points and translated into English. Our long-term goal is to develop a public online platform to present this resource to organizations in the community, and work is currently ongoing to ensure the platform is ready for launch later this year.
In the meantime, our document repository can still serve as an important tool to help you identify and apply for new funding. We encourage English-speaking arts organizations to contact us directly to discuss their work and their funding needs. With that information, we will be able to provide you with clear and straightforward documents from our repository that include all the information you need to begin writing an application.
For those who are new to the process or need a bit of extra assistance, we are also able to refer organizations for consulting and grant writing services offered by experienced professionals in the community. The first step is to contact research@quebec-elan.org and start a dialogue to see how we can help, or call Nick Maturo at 514-935-3312 ext. 28.
Similarly, we still want to hear from any English-language arts organizations in the province who are interested in participating in our survey, particularly those located in the regions. Simply send a request to research@quebec-elan.org to receive the questionnaire or for more information on the project.
