Puppet arts research and development residency in Norway

Résidence de recherche et développement en arts de la marionnette en Norvège

DESCRIPTION

This research and development residency in puppet arts in Berger, Norway, allows Québec artists to enjoy a significant moment in their career development. Being in a new living environment and spending time with other artists creates the conditions for fostering creativity and advancing artistic efforts, even offering international exposure for their career.

The objective of this residency is to enable an artist from Québec to spend two months at Fossekleiva kultursenter, with the artistic partner of their choice. This professional partner may be from one of the following disciplines: circus arts, digital arts, film and video art, multidisciplinary arts, visual arts, dance, literature and storytelling, arts and crafts, music, architectural research, and theatre.

The length of the residency is two months, between September and November 2024.
