Film

  • Centre CLARK is seeking proposal submissions from artists, collectives, and curators for audio works for Centre CLARK’s Poste Audio annual programming. $250 offered as an exhibition fee, as well as installation assistance, and if required, access to Atelier CLARK for the construction of wood-based presentation supports.   • The Conseil des arts de Montréal and the Théatre Aux Écuries present the 3rd edition of the Research-creation residency for culturally diverse artists in theatre and new artistic practices, which aims to support culturally diverse artists. Deadline is APRIL 25. Click here for details.
  • North Media Arts Centre (NAISA) call for submissions Off the Beat(en) Track. Artists of all ages and nationalities to submit works on the theme Off the Beat(en) Track for consideration in New Adventures in Sound Art’s 2019 programming. Deadline is JUNE 4. Click here for details. 
  • Studio 303 are seeking submissions for their third Curator-in-Residence program 2018/2019. The residency aims to provide a framework for developing ideas through research, discussion, and practice. Studio 303 will help the resident curator with many aspects of programming, including: artistic direction, budget, fee policy, communications, funders, venues, etc. Emerging curators have the opportunity to imagine and program a live performance event to be held at Studio 303 on APRIL 13 or 14, 2019.  Deadline is JUNE 20, 2018. Theatre

  • Black Theatre Workshop is accepting submissions for The Artist Mentorship program — designed to equip emerging professional artists with practical opportunities. Candidates must be actively seeking a professional career in theatre and have education or equivalent experience on a community or professional level. Artists who are black or identify as being black are strongly encouraged to submit and will be given priority, however candidates from all cultural backgrounds will be respectively considered.Submissions must be printed and sent to: Black Theatre Workshop, 432 – 3680 rue Jeanne Mance, H2X 2K5 – Montréal, QC.
