Artisan / Crafts

Multidisciplinary / General

  • North Media Arts Centre (NAISA) seeks submissions for Off the Beat(en) Track. Artists of all ages and nationalities are encouraged to submit works on the theme Off the Beat(en) Track. Deadline is JUNE 4, 2018. Click here for details.
  • Studio 303 are seeking submissions for their third Curator-in-Residence program 2018/2019. The residency aims to provide a framework for developing ideas through research, discussion, and practice. Studio 303 will help the resident curator with many aspects of programming, including: artistic direction, budget, fee policy, communications, funders, venues, etc. Emerging curators have the opportunity to imagine and program a live performance event to be held at Studio 303 on APRIL 13 or 14, 2019.  Deadline is JUNE 20, 2018.   • Founded by ELAN member Aaron Saloman, aaronmusic productions is a new music publishing company focusing on sync licensing. Aaron is seeking submissions from all artists in all styles, who have existing music (new or old) and lack time or insight in sync placements. Submissions should be professionally recorded. Visual Arts

  • The Quebec Writers’ Federation is accepting submissions for their QWF Literary Prize for Young Writers. This prize will be awarded to an emerging writer residing in Québec and is between the ages of 16 – 24. Short stories, poetry, and non-fiction are all accepted! Deadline is JUNE 15, 2018.   • Vallum Magazine is seeking submissions for The Vallum Award for Poetry 2018. Submit to win $750.00 and a publication in an upcoming issue of Vallum. Second prize is $250.00 and publication in Vallum. Click here for details.
  • This summer 9 Montréalers from 9 different cultural communities will participate in the creation of Montréal’s first Poesie dans la cité event. Local poets, Fortner Anderson and Geneviève Létarte, are looking for 9 participants of all ages and backgrounds (who are not artists) to spend an afternoon this summer observing the events that occur around them in one of nine iconic locations in Montréal. In OCTOBER, 2018, the 9 participants will present a public reading of their lists, in a choir directed by Kathy Kennedy. ELAN is happy to partner with Poesie dans la cité in this unique cultural event celebrating English culture in Montréal. Click here for details.
