Please note that all attendees MUST register prior to attending this workshop. Due to limited spots, participants who have not registered beforehand will be refused at the door.


This workshop will teach you how to put your best grant forward! Participants will be informed of the updates on the new Canada Council Funding model, and given insights into making CALQ and CAM applications. Moreover, this workshop will focus on using appropriate “grant” language, developing budgets, and other details contributing to producing a polished submission. A segment of the workshop will be dedicated to developing social media skills.


June Park is an arts consultant, writer and cultural connector based in Montreal. She has worked in Montreal for several arts organizations including Youtheatre, Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal and RUBBERBANDance Group. She sat on the Executive Board of the Quebec Drama Federation as Treasurer and was Director of Marketing for Opera Ontario/Opera Hamilton, and Development Associate at the Royal Ontario Museum. She continues to work with various groups committed to increasing the visibility and integration of culturally diverse artists from all disciplines. June has her M.A. from the University of Toronto, B.A. from U of Calgary, and studied arts management at the University of Waterloo, Cultural Careers Council of Ontario. She is currently finishing a manuscript while working as a freelance grant writer, agent, and arts administrator.
